THE FACTS
My name is Melissa McHugh. I was born on May 31, 1984, which currently makes me 25. I recently graduated with my associate degree in History from Camden County College and transferred to Rutgers University-Camden to pursue my bachelor degree with a minor in either international politics, religion and/or French. I plan to attend graduate school to obtain my masters with an eye towards my doctorate to teach on a college level.
I have lived in Gloucester City, New Jersey for my entire life — in the same house nonetheless. My parents are still together and have been since high school. I have two younger siblings – a brother, James, who is 23 and a sister, Megan, who is 21.
A LITTLE MORE
I spend a lot of my time reading, watching television, hanging out with friends, working and of course on the computer. I love to going to the movies, if I could afford it, I’d go at least once a week. I like to write, it’s a fun past time and I spend a lot of time writing fanfiction for General Hospital.
I have two cats. Baby is white, black and gray and has lived here the longest. She’s my catnip addict. She’s about five years old and just wandered up to the house one day as if she’d picked us out herself. Chloe is my gray, brown and black kitten that my parents gave me after my other cat was killed in an accident. She enjoys hunting my brother’s hamsters unfortunately so we have to keep her out of the basement where they’re stored.
We also have a dog that belongs more to my mother than anyone else. Her name is Zoe and she’s a black Alaskan husky/border collie mix. She’s extremely territorial and enjoys herding the cats.
