I Should Have Turned It Off
The next time I have the urge to switch the channel when Brad Lidge loads the bases in the 9th with one out, I’m gonna do it. He hurts the heart sometimes.

When Brett Myers left the Phillies in May for what seemed like season ending hip surgery, and with his contract up at the end of the year, my brother said he was done. I told him Myers would be back and I bet him $5 we’d see him in uniform again. (Of course I thought he’d be back next year) but technically, I win!
Myers returns to Phillies on Friday
With Hamels pitching back to form and Pedro Martinez kicking ass tonight, I feel so much better about our chances this post season.
OFFLINE
1. Clean out TV stand. Again. And figure out how to keep from having to reorganize the damn thing every six months.
2. Find a spot to put all my shoes that doesn’t include all over the floor in front of my book cases.
3. Reorganize my closet — or at least make it look presentable.
SCHOOL — CCC
1. Figure out how Camden County screwed up my brother’s summer loans and fix it so he can get his refund.
2. Figure out how they screwed up MY summer loans so I can get my refund.
3. Find out when bookstore vouchers activate at the bookstore so I can ship Jimmy to get his textbooks.
SCHOOL — Rutgers
1. Confirm my transfer evaluation has been updated.
2. Get student ID
3. Figure out how to get student loan refund to pay for textbooks in time for school.
4. Get parking permit
5. Get aforementioned textbooks.
ONLINE
1. Figure out what I’m supposed to do with all the idiotic fan sites I started. Either close them permanently or do some sort of archive.
2. Finish fanlistings adopted from Brianne.
3. Finish two Phillies FLs August 21 deadline.
4. Maybe a new layout for main collective.
5. Roundup at RomanceFan.
Three weeks. Doesn’t feel like enough time.
I was only teasing my brother’s fiancee when I made fun of Chris Coste. I would have rather the Phillies give up Bako or Eric Bruntlett than Coste.
Damn them!
I tried to lessen my work load by splitting all my final presentations/papers/studying into equal parts over the next two weeks so that I wouldn’t cry.
It’s not entirely working.
I did finish about 2/3 of my math portfolio and the rest of my final speech for Public speaking today. Yesterday, I did section one of my Modern China paper and about 1/3 of my French paper.
I just can’t find the energy to finish section two for China and the the next third of the French paper. *sniffles* My French paper is planning a vacation to a French speaking country in French, so I chose Tahiti. It is not cheering me up to plan the dream vacation I won’t be able to afford for another decade. Evil. I should have chosen Luxembourg or someplace else I’d never want to go.
